New Mexico - Trip Two

This time we went by car. It was Aug. of 2000, in fact we were their for Lammas.  We had already moved to Tennessee by the time we took this trip.   It would be the last time Ruth would see her Mother.  We left after Ruth got off work at 3am, she was working the third shieft at Kroger.  She wanted to do the first sheift driving - we took I-40, and she drove to Nashville, then I drove to Memphis - crossed the Mississippi and then Amy took her shieft and we rotated like that all the way there.
