Visit to New Mexico

The Bus

My wife's mother had to undergo an operation in New Mexico and we needed to go out there, so she could be with her. (We live in Florida) Because of time and money we took Greyhound. A 46 hour trip! It was not as bad as it sounds...The bus ride was like one long day with two periods of dark. But after all that time in a seat a shower and a bed was very welcome.

New Mexico

It was about 5 am when we hit New Mexico, so when the sun rose we were in the desert. Having never been this far west before it was a wonderous sight. Snow capped mountians were in the distance. (Something you don't see in Florida).
