There has been some really bad Star Wars TV show back in the 70’s and they deserve to stay their. We will only cover the Disney Plus shows. And like the others we will not cover the Animated shows only live action. I may latter do a page on the animated show, or at least the ones that were not cartoons or legos, but right now I’m just going to stick with the live action.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian

Starring: Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Ciancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Ming-
Created by Jon Favreau

This is by far the best Star Wars since Return of the Jedi!!! Taking place five years after Return we see what is happening with the remains of the Empire still around and the New Republic trying to become strong. And we get to see a young Luke Skywalker thanks to deep fake tech. Deep Fake brings on a new form of acting. A voice actor and a “dummy” actor, who with the use of the deep fake will look just like the voice actor did when he was younger. Solo, a star wars story done with deep fake and Harrison Ford would have been a big success, as most of the hate for the movie comes with having someone else play Han. But beside this Mandalorian has the Star Wars feel. (After seeing Mandalorian, the Star Wars TV should not exist. ) If you are a Star Wars fan and have not seen this, you must. If you do not have Disney Plus the first two seasons are on disc. Between Marvel and Star Wars Disney Plus is a great place for fans.
Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett

Jon Favreau is todays “George Lucas” and when Disney realizes this it will be good. He should be working on the feature films as well as the series. He seems to understand Star Wars much better than the ones who wrote the final trilogy. Again a great series and in the same time frame as the Mandalorian. So we had cross overs between the two series. It seem the Star Wars Mini series are not one shots like most of the Marvel mini series. So we are looking forward to season two of The Book of Boba Fett and season four of Mandalorian.

This is set ten years after Episode III and nine years before Episode IV. This was planned to be a movie, but after SOLO failed future side films were shelved. Disney Plus is making it possible for a lot of the shelved stories to have another life. This shows us a little of what Obi-
We have several new Star Wars TV series coming to Disney Plus: ANDOR, AHSOKA, SKELETON CREW, THE ACOLYTE. Andor which is slated to come out in a few weeks will be a prequel to Star Wars: Rogue One. Ahsoka is the adventures of Ahsoka Tano and is a Mandalorian spin off. Skeleton Crew is about a group of kids about ten years old that get lost in the Star Wars universe. And The Acolyte will be about the final days of the High Republic era.
This was written in early 2022 and we will be doing an update to this. We have been working on this for quite a while now and it is time for it to go live.
