Discworld by Terry Pratchett

Discworld is a Fantasy satire much like Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. Discworld is a group of smaller series that interact with one another - the main character in one series may be a back ground character in another.  The humor is great. And you can see reflections of our world in this strange world of Discworld.

These books follow the adventrues of commander Sam Vimes and other memebers of the city watch of Ankh-Morpork of Discworld.
