Been wanting to read a Garrett P.I. Novel for some time and finally picked one up. The books a nice blend of detective novel and fantasy. Garrett has friends that are half elf and the dead man. We have a world were magic can happen, yet much like like our world at times. Garrett is a detective that wants to not have to work, but jobs seem to find him. A combination of adventure drama and comedy. It was enough to make me want to get another.
This novel concerns a long dead god and Garrett has been fingered as a sacrifice
